On behalf of Troop 83 out of Olathe, KS, we would like to invite you and any of your Arrow of Light boys to our annual “Mountain Man” campout which will be held the weekend of October 23-25 at our campsite in Loring, KS. This is always a fan favorite for the boys and close to home for families to be able to come and go as their schedules allow.
During the day on Saturday, we will have stations for scouting skills, games and paintball shooting, followed by a haunted forest on Saturday evening. This is also a great opportunity to meet Troop 83 boys, leadership and adult volunteers. Any AOL or younger scout who would like to stay any of the nights is welcomed, but BSA regulations do require them to be accompanied by a parent. If this is an issue or you are simply not available for an overnight, we would still love to have you out for all or part of the day on Saturday as you are available.
This is a high point for the boys every year and we love to have AOLs join us to check out the Troop and ask questions as they look forward on their scouting path.
