The campout will be at the Camp Naish Scout Reservation. 1100 Martinek Ln, Kansas City, KS 66111.
Please plan to arrive anytime between 6:00 – 6:30pm with dinner already eaten for the evening. Please bring your own camping gear with you. There is a list below of recommended items to bring. We will be setting up camp between 6:00 – 7:00pm. We will have an opening ceremony for the campout at 7:00pm. Then we will have some time for scouts to prep for the evening campfire where we will enjoy some songs, skits, and stories. During the campfire, we will also be performing a flag retirement ceremony, so if you have any American Flags that are worn out and are in need of retiring, please let us know and bring it with you to the campout. The pack will be providing cracker barrel snacks for all to enjoy.
If the sky is clear, there will also be an opportunity to do a little stargazing. If you have your own stargazing gear, you are welcome to bring it.
On Saturday morning, we plan to start breaking down camp between 7:00 – 8:00am. There will not be a cooked breakfast, but there will be some breakfast snacks available.
