Pack Family Campout Schedule

The campout will be at the Hollis Center.  Address is above.  There are restrooms on-site along with a source of water.

Please plan to arrive anytime between 5:00 – 5:30pm with dinner already eaten for the evening.  Please bring your own camping gear with you.  There is a list below of recommended items to bring.  If you do not have any gear, please contact Jake Parrott or your den leader about borrowing from a fellow scout.

We will be setting up camp between 5:00 – 6:00pm.  We will have an opening ceremony for the campout at 6:00pm.  Then we will have some time for scouts to prep for the evening campfire where we will enjoy some songs, skits, and stories.  During the campfire, we will also be performing a flag retirement ceremony, so if you have any American Flags that are worn out and are in need of retiring, please let us know and bring it with you to the campout.  The pack will be providing cracker barrel snacks for all to enjoy.

If the sky is clear, there will also be an opportunity to do a little stargazing.  If you have your own stargazing gear, you are welcome to bring it.

On Saturday morning, we plan to start breaking down camp between 7:00 – 8:00am.  There will not be a cooked breakfast, but there will be some breakfast snacks available.  We will conduct a closing ceremony at 8:00am along with a group photo.  Following the ceremony, we will do check for trash in the area and then be able to depart.
